I began watching and playing baseball when I
was six years old growing up in Hamilton, Ontario. A Blue
Jays fan since then I had the opportunity of witnessing the
team experience success through the mid-eighties and then of
course the back to back World Series titles in 92 and 93.
Since then, it’s been a tough go of things as a Blue Jays
fan. However, through thick and thin I’ve followed the team.
After my undergrad at McMaster University in Hamilton, I
moved to Toronto to get my Master’s degree at the University
of Toronto and start my career in the public service. Those
years in Toronto were excellent as I was able to attend games
at the Skydome/Rogers Centre on a regular basis. However, my
family and career took me to Ottawa, Ontario soon after that
and I’ve been here in the nation’s capital ever since.
